Secretary for Education and Manpower Professor Arthur Li, yesterday (May 7) at the Hong Kong won the invitation of the Royal College of Surgery, the Court of Patrons of the members. This is the Institute's highest honor given to individuals, the current Court of Patrons only 36 members.
Professor Li Guozhang was the first invited person to join the British Royal College of Surgery Asians of the Court of Patrons. College’s Court of Patrons established in 1956, recognizes the surgical medical education, training and research and outstanding contribution to the people, so far only 101 persons have been this honor. Members of the names are engraved in the United Kingdom Royal College of the ad hoc surgery on the plaque.
Of the ceremony in the Royal School of Medicine and Surgery Faculty of Medicine of the Hong Kong surgical joint scientific conference held.
Professor Li Guozhang to receive this honor was very pleased. He said: "This honor represents the medical profession in Hong Kong surgical achievements; we also affirmed the contribution of the international community."
